Bobbie Carlyle’s ‘Self Made Man’
We are all just a piece of marble waiting to be hammered and chizzled into what we wish to be. Whether it is your physical goals, career goals or just life goals in general. We all start as nothing. We start as pieces of flesh that can do absolutely nothing for ourselves. As we grow, so do our minds and bodies. Who we are begins to take shape. Our block of marble begins to form. Some will form who they are long before others, and some will stay just a block. It doesn’t matter how fast you can chizzle your way out of that block of marble all that matters is you dont ever stop. Those who give up will remain just a block, trapped as being nothing. You must continue your hammering and once you know exactly what you want to be and who you wont to be. You will be like a statue from ancient greece. A mind as wise as the gods, or a body mimicking that of zeus’ himself. You will be able to hammer and chizzle until you have every last detail perfect until you are the person you dreamed of becoming. Life is this journey represented by the ‘Self made Man’, freedom through creation. But what do you do when your ultimate goal is achieved? You turn to your neighbor and help free your fellow man from his block of marble. We must love one another and help each other in any way we know how. Free your self, and free the world.

I put that shit on everything! Seriously though this is the only thing keeping me from going insane from eating all this chicken.

I fucking hate this picture. I ride a stationary bike every single day. Why do I ride a bike? there are multiple reasons. First biking is way easier on my knees. If runners think biking is inferior then I challenge them to squat at their rep maximums, run for two hours every day and not fuck their knees up. Secondly I ride a stationary bike because I go to school in Moscow, Idaho. I cant bike when there is constant snow and it’s so cold out my balls are in my throat. Third, I DONT HAVE A BIKE. Fourth, I can manipulate everything I need to on a stationary bike. I can check my heart rate with my personal monitor. I can control my heart rate by adjusting the RPM’s higher or lower, I wouldnt know how fast I was going on a bicycle. I can also keep the resistance the same the entire time and not worry about hills. I know make my body do exactly what I want it to on a stationary bike. And last but not least, I FUCKING HATE RUNNING. I love doing sprints on high intensity days but there is nothing I hate more in this world than running for extended periods of time.

Ok there is one thing I hate more and this is Crossshit Crossfit. But running is a near second.

First Bodybuilding comp-6 weeks out

April 28th is my first bodybuilding comp. I decided to compete in the open division. Been training for 7 months and everything is coming together. Starting to lean out with no loss of mass. Tanning starts tomorrow and posing is going really well. Its going to be a long six weeks with 4 hours of training and an hour of posing each day, all on top of being a college student.
